Payment Forms let you collect additional order-specific information before sending a customer to Stripe Checkout.

Requirements

  • PayPress plan.
  • Payment Forms enabled on that plan.
  • Fields configured in the plan editor.

Steps

  1. Open a plan.
  2. Enable Payment Forms.
  3. Add fields.
  4. Configure labels, required settings, widths, and options where needed.
  5. Save the plan.
  6. Test checkout.
  7. Review Form Responses on the order.

Expected Result

Customers complete the form before checkout. PayPress stores a historical response snapshot on the order after payment completes.

Important Notes

Payment Forms are plan-level in v1. They are not reusable forms yet. Actual form response values are not sent to Stripe metadata.

Troubleshooting

If the form does not appear, confirm it is enabled and saved on the plan. If responses are missing, check that checkout completed and the order was created.
